Why do humans keep fighting each other and how can they stop

There is hope:

Humans have been fighting each other for centuries, from petty conflicts to global wars. Whether it's over resources, ideology, or power, it seems that we can't seem to find a way to live in peace with one another. But why is this the case, and what can we do to stop it?

One of the main reasons humans keep fighting each other is because of our tribal nature. We tend to identify with certain groups, whether it's our nation, religion, or race, and we often see those who are not part of our group as a threat. This can lead to conflicts between different groups as they try to protect their own interests and values.

Another reason for human conflict is the pursuit of power. Throughout history, we have seen leaders and nations seek to expand their influence and control, often at the expense of others. This desire for power can lead to aggression and violence, as groups try to assert their dominance over others.

So how can we stop this cycle of conflict and violence? One solution is to focus on our shared humanity rather than our differences. By recognizing that we are all part of the same species, we can work towards common goals and find ways to coexist peacefully. This can involve promoting empathy and understanding between different groups, as well as encouraging cooperation and collaboration.

Another solution is to promote nonviolent communication and conflict resolution skills. This can involve teaching individuals and groups how to communicate effectively, listen to each other's perspectives, and find mutually beneficial solutions to conflicts. By learning these skills, we can prevent conflicts from escalating into violence and find peaceful resolutions to even the most difficult conflicts.

Finally, we can work towards creating more equitable and just societies. Many conflicts arise from systemic injustices and inequalities, such as poverty, discrimination, and oppression. By addressing these underlying issues, we can create societies that are more peaceful, fair, and just for all individuals and groups.

Final message:

Humans keep fighting each other for various reasons, including our tribal nature and the pursuit of power. However, by focusing on our shared humanity, promoting nonviolent communication and conflict resolution skills, and creating more equitable societies, we can work towards a more peaceful and harmonious world. It may not be easy, but it is certainly worth striving for. Go(o)d bless you and may peace also be with you throughout your life 🙏.

  1. Hallelujah and amen brother

  2. Human beings are mostly good. Unfortunately those who are not tend to be those in power. They dominate the good and force their evil ways on the majority of people. This is why revolutions happen. But then those people get changed by power too. I suppose we need to come up with a system that doesn't give people too much power. Maybe AI should rule us?
